Westwood School, founded on January 6th, 2015, is a beacon of hope and a sanctuary for the vulnerable children residing in the Mathare slums. Mathare, a densely populated area characterized by extreme poverty and social challenges, faces numerous issues such as school dropouts, early pregnancies, substance abuse, and street children. Westwood School emerged as a response to these pressing needs, aiming to support children educationally, socially, and morally. With a deep commitment to the community, the school strives to provide a nurturing environment where children are given love, care, and educational opportunities, thus breaking the cycle of poverty.
